Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Pre-Orders
Q: Why should I pre-order comic books or TCG products?
A: Pre-ordering is the best way to guarantee you receive high-demand, limited-run items. For comics, it ensures you get variant covers and key issues that often sell out instantly. For TCGs (Magic, Pokémon, etc.), it secures your Booster Boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes on release day, especially during periods of limited supply.
Q: When will my Pre-Order items ship or be ready for pickup?
A: We aim to ship all pre-orders to arrive on or as close to the official public release date set by the publisher (DC, Marvel, Wizards of the Coast, etc.). For in-store pickup, items will be ready on the release date (typically Wednesday for comics). You will receive an email notification when your order is ready.
Q: Can I combine in-stock items and pre-order items in one order?
A: We strongly advise placing separate orders for in-stock items and pre-order items. If an order contains both, the entire shipment will be held until all items, including the latest pre-order, have arrived in our warehouse. This prevents delays for the items you want now.
Q: How do you handle a comic book pre-order being unexpectedly delayed or cancelled by the publisher?
A: While rare, publisher delays can happen. We notify all customers immediately if a comic or TCG set pre-order is delayed. If a publisher cancels a product entirely, you will receive a full refund for the item, guaranteed.
Q: Can I modify or cancel a comic or TCG Pre-Order?
A: Because we place our final print and product orders based on your pre-order commitment, modifications or cancellations may not always be possible, especially as the release date approaches. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust an upcoming order.
